This
alumni chapter was initiated in 1993. The initial membership has grown each
year. Currently there are over 169 families and friends in the surrounding area
that support this chapter. We have several different functions each year that
bring us all together to celebrate our alliance to Nebraska. Although we live in
Texas, we still support a strong following of the University of Nebraska. Anyone
can become a member of the Alumni, even though you have not previously attended
the University. Nebraska is a Land Grant University, which means with a donation
to the University you can become a member and support the University. We invite
all individuals to join the Alumni through our Chapter. This chapter has reached
RED LETTER
Status 6 years running, which is quite an accomplishment for any chapter. To
support young minds, we also make annual donations to the Scholarship Fund, as
well as look for High School candidates from this area that would like to go to
Nebraska and attend the University.
