Join us at our Husker Huddle during the NCAA Volleyball
Final Four in San Antonio. This will be a casual gathering on Friday
evening at Steers & Beers Steakhouse on the Riverwalk. We will be showing Husker Volleyball
highlights on the big screen, playing the Nebraska fight song, and having a great time fellowshipping with our Husker faithful.
There is no cover charge for the event. You purchase your own food and
beverages. Steers & Beers will be
providing Big Red beverage specials.
Please print out and bring this flyer as it will provide you a 10%
discount on your food purchases. This
food discount is good for December 15 through December 17, 2005 at Steers &
Beers. A reservation is not required
for the Husker Huddle, but since we are expecting a large crowd, please help us
by sending an email to huskerhuddle@aol.com
and indicate the number of people in your party that will be attending on
Friday evening.
Steers & Beers is a
down-home food and beverage
establishment where you can kick
back and relax while chowing down on American and Texan fare to the background of good ol' country music.
The interior is pure country. Black-and-white "cowhide"
tablecloths adorn tables in the spacious river-level dining room. The Hayloft Karaoke Bar is located upstairs
if you like to sing. The menu includes shotgun starters (appetizers), steaks,
seafood, pasta, deserts, and a buckaroo selection for those wranglers 12 and
under. Be sure your wear your “RED” and let San Antonio know you are here to support the
Huskers. Lil’Red (our stationary inflatable) will be at
the river level entrance ready to welcome
you to Steers & Beers. You'll want to gallop on down to our Husker Huddle
