Ok…. You've
graduated from the BEST University in the World and now you've relocated to
Central Texas and we're happy you are here with us.
You're starting
that new job and ready to move up that corporate ladder. This places a lot of
demands on your time and energy. You've probably made a few friends at work
and hopefully you're finding that there is a lot to do in the Central Texas
area.
Well, we want you
to be part of our Family at the Capital of Texas Nebraskans.
We have many fun
functions throughout the year, sporting events, tailgate parties, game
migrations, watch parties, social events, family picnics, raffles, Founders
Day events with University representatives for academic and sports. Many of
our members work for the major corporations in the area and could be great
networking opportunities for you. Helping out with the chapter provides many
opportunities for you to develop important leadership and collaboration
skills.

trying to decide "What's your role as a member of this community?
Involvement in
community settings as a Big Red Volunteer
is also an excellent way to explore and clarify your values, help others and
make a difference.
Help us by
putting your skills to work doing rewarding community service activities with
such organizations as the Special Olympics, Austin Central Area Food Bank,
Safe Place, Coats for Kids and many, many more.
Become a chapter
member and assist with chapter events.Young Alumni members bring new ideas
and new ideas mean greater service to our chapter and the community.
You will receive
your first years Chapter Membership Free and membership after that is only
$10.00 per year for the entire family.
